Obviously the Telegraph's campaign quickly succeeded in achieving what it had set out to do; primarily gaining a reaction from the pundits on the left. Nobody would have thought that the people at the Guardian would have been so eager to attempt satirising the campaign and as a result they immediately went down in our estimation. Not simply for playing into the hands of the right wing press, but also for what could be interpreted as merely asserting the claim that the BBC leans to the left, as there's no doubt the Guardian would have ever commissioned such a campaign. For the centralists and cynics among you it's fair to say that had the so called "Torygraph" not conceived the idea the equally right wing Daily Mail would have soon adopted the concept. So with that in mind here is where we come in, with no political ties it's not a case of the BBC being biased against us, it's simply the fact that we're against British citizens being required by law to fund it.
